STL Download – Print-at-Home Controlled Cure System
Build your own controlled curing chamber.
The SculptCoat Cure Station™ STL is a modular 4-piece system designed to help you create a stable, humidity-controlled environment for freshly coated 3D prints.
Download. Print. Assemble. Cure with control.
Why Controlled Curing Matters
The first 24–48 hours are critical.
If moisture escapes too quickly:
-
Surface integrity can weaken
-
Fine details may suffer
-
Edges can become brittle
-
Strength development slows
Improvised coverings often shift, collapse, or disturb the finish.
This system creates a simple enclosed micro-environment to support proper material development.
Integrated Threaded Mounting Base
The design includes a built-in threaded mounting base:
-
Secure your model during application
-
Rotate while coating without touching wet surfaces
-
Minimize smudging
-
Transition directly into curing
Mount. Coat. Enclose. Cure.
How It Works
-
Print all four components.
-
Mount your model to the threaded base.
-
Apply SculptCoat evenly.
-
Assemble the side panels and top.
-
Cover with a standard plastic grocery bag.
-
Leave undisturbed for 24–48 hours.
The enclosed chamber helps retain internal moisture while protecting your surface.

How to use
How to use
Typically 1–3 thin coats. Each coat goes on very thin like applying a milkshake and builds into a stone surface. Thin it out by adding slightly more water for more detailed applications like figurines and miniatures. There is a 15 min working time so start with thin transparent-like layers.
